Recent coverage in Highway Mail & Eyethu On Kassier Rd gave the local community around Westown more detail on what to expect in the short and medium term with regards to the road bypass.
As part of the phased upgrade of Kassier Road, from mid-February 2023, a bypass road will be in place between the N3 and Milky Way (P559). This tarred bypass will run in both directions and will be in place for approximately 12 months.
This forms part of the overall Kassier Rd Upgrade a long overdue project that with the commitment by the eThekwini Municipality to the funding of this and other work, has enabled the development of Westown to begin.
