Westown SA Youth Champs 2022 – Westown is proud to announce its sponsorship of the South African Youth Championships 2022 taking place at the Shongweni Club from 10-16 December 2022.
The event will see over 550 horses and ponies from around the country, competing for the prestigious South African titles for juniors under 18 years of age across the equestrian disciplines of show jumping; dressage; equitation and showing.
The sponsorship of the Youth Champs forms part of Westown’s long-term commitment to the Shongweni Club and Polo Club and is part of the developments’ support of the equestrian roots that contribute to the character of the area. The profile of the club and the multiple activities it brings to the area are well known, as is the significant value of the equestrian community both locally and across the country. As custodians of the newest chapter of the Shongweni story, this is one of Westown’s contributions to the future growth and success of the outer west.
The South African Youth Championships includes an extensive programme of evening entertainment including live bands, night markets, food and refreshment stalls.
