Construction on the Westown site has shifted gears as work on the New Access Bridge begins.
This bridge will run over Kassier road and includes a loop ramp for direct access into Westown for those travelling from the Hillcrest side of the N3. This piece of work forms part of the overall infrastructure upgrade around this project which also includes:
- The upgrade of Kassier Rd
- Upgrades to bulk services including water, wastewater and electricity
- Two new bridges over the M13 and N3
This piece of work is scheduled for completion towards the end of 2024.
