Kassier Road / M13 Update – We are nearing the end of Kassier Rd’s construction with the final section of the M13 interchange upgrade.
Soon traffic will be shifted onto the newly constructed Western bridge deck to allow for the raising of the existing Eastern deck.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING CONSTRUCTION PLAN:
PHASE 1 (8–26 March 2025)
????On ramp to the M13 from PMB will be closed
????M13 off ramp from Durban – ONLY the right turn to Hillcrest will be closed.
????Traffic heading to Hillcrest will turn at the NEW traffic circle at the Cliffdale/Engen intersection (this is a temporary traffic circle)
????Kassier Rd will be free flowing with 2-lanes of traffic travelling in both directions.
PHASE 2 (From 27 March 2025)
???? The new Kassier Road opens from Cliffdale/Engen Circle to the N3.
PHASE 3 (Early April 2025)
???? Western bridge deck opens, and the Eastern deck is raised.
PHASE 4 (End June 2025)
???? Full M13 interchange opens! ????
