Over the last 12 months, the Westown Square and Kassier Rd construction teams have been steadily working towards the first goal of March 2025 when Kassier Rd’s upgrade will be complete and Westown Square will be open for business.
This work has resulted in some pretty impressive numbers being racked up, including:
????13 400m³ of concrete poured
????2 200 tons of rebar used
????12 800m² of roof sheeting placed
????5 000m² of bricks laid
????1.3km of piling driven
????8.4km of roadbed laid
????3.4km of deviation road created
????780m of stormwater pipes laid
????5.5km of cable ducts installed
????61 trainees through the Academy
????68 pieces of heavy machinery on site
It’s all systems go as we move into the last 12 months of construction with the first goal of March 2025 signifying the completion of the first projects within the greater Westown development.
